As a Senior Designer, I’ve worked with federal and utility clients like the CDC, NCI, Pennsylvania Power & Light and NC Quick Pass on projects focusing on topics like energy efficiency, cancer survivorship and smoking cessation.

NC Quick pass bobblehead campaign

Client: NCTA (North Carolina Transit Authority) - NC Quick Pass

Brief: NC Quick Pass is looking for a new campaign for the summer and fall with a a fun, fresh, and energetic spin. They’re open to a new creative strategy that focuses on using NC Quick Pass to do more this season.

Result: The NC Quick Pass bobblehead campaign is a fun and energetic way to show potential customers how quick and easy NC Quick Pass makes getting to all the fun North Carolina has to offer. Each bobblehead is a representation of the driver, outfitted to enjoy a great NC destination: mountains, lake, city and beach.

As a result of this campaign, NC Quick Pass sold more than 3X more transponders than during the previous ad’s run!

Client: PPL (Pennsylvania Power & Light) Electric

Brief: Create a digital campaign for September, inspired by National Video Games Day (September 12th), that focuses on energy-efficiency within the gaming community. Highlight the importance of reducing energy consumption while gaming and provide practical tips for gamers to adopt more sustainable practices. The campaign will leverage social media, video content and infographics.

Result: The Energy Quest campaign uses a throwback 8-bit video game style to add whimsy to facts and tips about gaming PC energy consumption.

Outreach box

Client: NCTA (North Carolina Transit Authority) - NC Quick Pass

Brief: Develop a swag box to send out to decision makers at businesses throughout North Carolina, to inform and entice them to sign their employees up for NC Quick Pass. This box will include branding on the outside, a notebook, handout, pen and mug, that all have NC Quick Pass branding and information.

great american smokeout® 2023

Client: CDC (Center for Disease Control) - OSH (Office on Smoking and Health)

Brief: Conceptualize and design a new look and feel for OSH’s annual Great American Smokeout® digital campaign with “American culture” as the inspiration. Create branded pieces for the website, social media pages and email that speak to the smoking cessation journey throughout the USA.

Client: NCI (National Cancer Institute) - DCCPS (Division of Cancer Control & Population Sciences)

Brief: Create an event campaign for a virtual meeting with research scientists and other important players, about the current state, challenges and opportunities surrounding the link between chronic inflammation and Long COVID.

Real savings for real people

Client: PPL (Pennsylvania Power & Light) Electric

Brief: Concept and develop a 2024 PPL Electric paid campaign that spans broadcast, digital, print, and out-of-home (bus and EV charger ads). This campaign should speak to how PPL can help customers save time, energy and money with our suggested tips.

Result: The Real Savings for Real People campaign focuses on what real people find important in their every day lives. With the tagline “Save for what matters most,” we’re asking the viewer to use PPL as a resource for savings tips to help them save money and time, so they can focus more on the people (and pets!) that matter the most to them. This campaign included TV spots, radio ads, a reskin of the energy efficiency landing page (SavewithPPL.com) that includes a new high-impact interactive experience, EV charger digital ads, bus ads, and paid digital ads.
